Description
A stunning ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and topped in platinum, 1.20 ctw of Old Mine cut diamonds surround a gorgeous 2.25 ctw no heat sapphire. The sapphire emits a deep blue-green color with its natural inclusions and the whiteness of the surrounding diamonds only bolster the sapphire’s fantastic hue. The sapphire and eight diamonds are prong set, and the plain band tapers slightly towards the back. Accompanying the ring is GIA Sapphire Origin Report #2223800016 completed February of 2023 stating the sapphire’s origin as Thailand, with no indication of heating treatment. This gorgeous piece would be a wonderful addition to any Edwardian collection!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 7 1/4 but could easily be resized. The sapphire and diamond centerpiece measures 1/2″ wide and 5/8″ long. It rests approximately 1/4″ above the finger when worn.
