A rare antique Onyx Diamond Snake Pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in sterling silver and 14k gold, the snake wraps itself around an Onyx sphere and has wonderful detail throughout. The snake is covered in Rose Cut diamonds that are shared-prong set throughout the front of the pendant. The snake’s eyes contain two ruby cabochons, giving him quite the devious look! The pendant has a stunning elegant design and hangs from a simple 14k bail which has a hallmark which says “14kS”. A fabulous Victorian piece, it’s perfect for any snake lover and would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The piece hangs 1 1/4″ long, measures 3/4″ wide, and is approximately 3/8″ thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver and gold setting or ruby and diamonds, all of which are intact.
